The story of HAL is deeply rooted in the dedication and expertise of the Kirkham family, spanning over three generations in the high heat industry.

It began with Harold Kirkham, a skilled heat technician whose passion and craftsmanship laid the foundation for what would become a family legacy. Inspired by his father, Tony Kirkham entered the industry in 1961, beginning his journey with HAL Limited, United Kingdom, before continuing with Hotwork Leyland. His experience and reputation in the field grew steadily over the decades.

In 1996, driven by a bold vision and supported by Neelima Kirkham, Tony took a pioneering step and established HAL India. With a strong foundation in technical expertise and a commitment to quality, HAL India quickly earned a name for itself in the high-temperature sector across the region.

Continuing the family tradition, Daniel Kirkham, representing the third generation, joined HAL in 2020, bringing fresh energy while upholding the values and standards established by his predecessors.

In a significant milestone, HAL officially became a member of Hotwork International in 2024, forging a powerful partnership that strengthened HAL’s global reach and technical capabilities. This collaboration marks a new chapter in HAL’s journey—built on legacy, driven by innovation, and committed to excellence.
